We
are here to help you convert your
existing library of photos, slides, negatives, videotape,
audio and film to a digital format.
Once we've preserved your library, we help you share it with
friends and family. In addition, we offer a unique media vaulting service to
protect your newly restored and preserved assets for the generations to come.

While digitizing your pictures and movies helps
preserve them by preventing future quality breakdown, it does not safeguard them
against a physical loss.
Depending on a single copy of data is not recommended. A best practice with
respect to safeguarding data is to make a backup copy and store it off-site.
Off-site storage is key to a successful disaster recovery plan. For
example, a fire could destroy an original VHS videotape along with the
"converted-to-DVD" version.
It is unlikely that an off-site copy would be damaged by the same event
or disaster.
The Photo Archival Company provides you with a peace of mind
through a media vaulting subscription.
With us, your memories are safeguarded, off-site, virtually shielded against
natural disasters, computer viruses, worms, accidental loss and
breakage.

Our media vaulting service provides two redundant backup
sites, hundreds of miles apart with an approximate 2000 ft. elevation differential.
After we have converted your original photos, movies or audio assets to digital format, we'll
keep a single copy of your DVDs and/or CDs at two of our vaulting locations for redundant protection.
Each of your
DVDs and CDs would be protected in a temperature and humidity
controlled environment requiring biometric access
control. Our vaults are UL rated at 1850
degrees Fahrenheit for two-hours before compromise.

In
summary, we have implemented a tight, end-to-end chain of custody process to
preserve the integrity of your photo, video and audio assets after
they have been converted to DVD or CD. Protecting
your memories requires planning and preparation.
Let our media archival subscription service be that peace of mind for you!
